FAQ

  • Any woman from anywhere in the world working in responsible AI development and deployment to solve real-word issues is invited to complete an application for our Awards.

  • We no longer accept nominations. However, if you know of a woman that deserves to be recognised, please send her the application link.

  • Yes, if your contribution fits multiple areas. However, you can only be selected as a winner for one category.

  • No, the working language for the application is English. This ensures that our international expert reviewers and global council have no barriers during their review.

Applying

  • The application willl be assessed across six criteria.

    1. Elevator Pitch (5%)

      • Please provide a concise and comprehensive elevator pitch style description of your role and your work. 

    2. Problem Statement (10%)

      • Describe the real-world problem(s) you’re solving with AI. Please explain why it is a problem. 

    3. Innovation (20%)

      • Describe the creative, innovative solutions you apply to solving the above identified problems using AI. 

    4. Impact (25%)

      • Describe the measurable impact of your work (include specific metrics on reach, beneficiaries, or outcomes).

    5. Responsible AI (25%)

      • How are you ensuring responsible AI development? Explain your approach to responsibility in your work and why it matters for your product/service and the broader future of AI.

    6. Values and Vision (15%)

      • What personal values drive your work in AI, and how do you envision your leadership and product/service shaping a better future?

  • Not necessarily. Applicants may also be using AI as part of a broader solution or innovation that creates social, economic, or environmental value. We celebrate both AI creators and AI integrators demonstrating responsible practice.

  • If your work spans multiple categories, you can select more than one. The selection committee will ensure the entry is evaluated appropriately. Please note that you can only be the winner of one category.

  • Yes. Applicants must be 18 years or older at the time of application.

  • No, we do not require any specific academic or professional qualifications.

Eligibility & Requirements 

  • Nominations open at 12:00 AM CET on 8 October 2025 and close at 11:59 PM CET on Monday, 7 December 2025.

  • Please submit your application through our online platform AwardForce here.

  • Yes. A confirmation email with an edit link will be sent once your entry is submitted. You can revise it before the deadline.

  • Yes, you’ll receive an email acknowledgement confirming your application was successfully submitted.

  • All applications are managed through our secure Award Force platform (ISO/IEC 27001 certified, GDPR/CCPA compliant, with MFA protection). Information is used only for evaluation and communications related to the She Shapes AI Awards


Application Process

  • On a rolling basis, the She Shapes AI team conducts eligibility checks. In December, a global panel of expert reviewers then evaluates each application based on five core criteria.

  • Finalists will be announced in February 2027. Winners will be revealed at the She Shapes AI Global Conference and Award Ceremony in April 2027 in London, UK.

Judging & Selection

  • The She Shapes AI Global Awards and Conference will be held in London, UK in April 2027 (date TBC).

  • Winners receive recognition at the ceremony, a custom She Shapes AI trophy, featured profiles across our global network, and priority access to the She Shapes AI membership platform and ecosystem partnership opportunities. More details to come!

  • Yes. Finalists and winners are featured across She Shapes AI’s website, social media, press releases, and partner networks to celebrate their impact and amplify their reach.

  • Yes. Tickets will be available for purchase, and the ceremony will also be livestreamed for global viewers. Details will be announced in late 2026.
